CarolAnn is an artist and educator specialising in hand embroidery based in Yorkshire. She also teaches Eco Printing, Slow Stitching and visible mending.
She has a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Surface Pattern and Textiles.
CarolAnn's own practice explores the importance of Slow textiles and traditional skills, naturally dying her own fabrics and threads from her garden.

She was second artist for the Stitched Together project headed up by Dionne Swift in conjunction with Rural Arts, Thirsk and across three separate Army Bases for the Military wives/partners. 2017
She has worked on various short community projects with Rural Arts and
HIVE in Bradford.
She runs workshops in her home in Yorkshire, Rural Arts - Thirsk, RHS Harlow Carr and Guilds and is available for community projects and workshops.
